Our Storage Facilities

Store your valuable resources at CCOS’ safe facilities in Switzerland. CCOS controls and logs access to the storage rooms and facilities and all freezers are being locked individually. Furthermore, the facilities are being controlled regularly by CCOS staff members and security personal.

CCOS isothermal liquid nitrogen vapor storage system

Minus 196°C samples are being kept in isothermal liquid nitrogen vapor storage system (CBS; in compliance with EU Directive 2004/23/EC) which allows sample storage at liquid nitrogen temperature without direct contact to liquid nitrogen. This minimizes the risk of cross contamination of individual sample tubes with material washed off from other tubes. Nevertheless, we keep bacterial and cell cultures in separate storage systems and run redundant freezers in operational states in case of device failure.

CCOS uses ultra-low temperature freezers for your minus 80°C samples with dry ice backup systems that allow any power outages to be bridged as well as redundant freezers in an operational state in case of device failure to provide you all the state of the art storage and security.
