Brief history of the Culture Collection
The CCOS was founded in 2010 as the national centre for culture collection in Switzerland. It is an independent company and cooperates closely with the Department of Life Sciences & Facility Management of the Zurich University of Applied Sciences, and with the Federal Office for the Environment in Berne.

2013 | CCOS becomes a member of the European Culture Collections' Organisation (ECCO) |
2012 | CCOS is certified according to ISO 9001:2008 |

2010 | Foundation as a public limited company (AG) |
2009 | CCOS becomes a member of the World Federation for Culture Collections (WFCC) |
